【華府新聞日報訊】由於近日接連發生數起無辜亞裔族群民眾遭受莫名暴力攻擊事件，「台美協 會」（Taiwanese American Diversity Associates，簡稱 TADA，網站： http://www.tada-md.org ）及「亞洲人保衛自己」（Asians Defend Yourselves, Inc.，簡稱 ADY，網站：www.ady-usa.org ）將聯合主辦與霍華郡警局 （Howard County Police Department）座談的線上社區活動。
本次座談會旨在讓各位知道如何辨識口頭與肢體攻擊以保衛我們自己。更重 要的是，本次會議也要提醒大家提高警覺，並主動通報任何犯罪和／或攻 擊。這類行為並不僅限於我們通常在新聞報導常見的犯罪活動，也包括網路 霸凌等行為。

Due to the recent spate of unprovoked and violent attacks against members of the Asian communities, the Taiwanese American Diversity Associates (www.tada-md.org) and Asians Defend Yourselves, Inc. (www.ady-usa.org) are co-hosting an online virtual community event with the Howard County Police Department.
The purpose of the meeting is to teach all of us how to identify verbal and physical attacks to protect ourselves. More importantly, this meeting is to remind us to stay alert and proactively report any crimes and/or attacks. These activities are not only limited to the reports we usually see in the news, it also includes cyber bullying and so on.
It is also our honor to have the Howard County Chief of Police to attend this event. Hopefully, we will see you online!
